Steel Grade Characteristics Applications Catalog Download
KDA1 KDA1 is a patented steel grade developed with the aim of improving the high-temperature strength and toughness of the general-purpose hot-work tool steel SKD61. It has the same heat treatment characteristics as SKD61 and exhibits secondary hardening behavior, providing superior resistance to high-temperature softening, high-temperature fatigue, and thermal cracking. Suitable for manufacturing aluminum, zinc, and magnesium alloy die-casting molds, as well as aluminum and copper hot-extrusion dies, containers, stems, liners, mandrels, and other hot-work tooling. It is also applicable to hot-forging dies, hot punches, hot-rolling tools, reamers, grooving tools, and shears. PDF
KDA1M Further enhances the high-temperature strength and toughness of KDA1, providing improved resistance to high-temperature softening, thermal fatigue, and heat checking.
UH660 A precipitation-hardening heat-resistant steel characterized by excellent high-temperature strength, thermal stability, wear resistance at elevated temperatures, resistance to high-temperature softening and thermal fatigue, and superior oxidation resistance. Suitable for the manufacture of copper and copper-alloy extrusion tools, liners, and aerospace components.
